A part of this year's Kirkwood Wine Stroll, KBOA, held an open call for nonprofits to submit projects to be considered for donations from the event profits. The board of directors choose 5 nonprofit organizations to receive $1000 each towards their projects. Each nonprofit attended the Wine Stroll and engaged the attendees regarding their organization's mission.
We were proud to present each nonprofit with $1000 at our Holiday Mixer on December 5th.

WOW! KBOA's first Silent Auction was a huge success! Thirty Kirkwood businesses donated items to benefit KUCC's Christmas in Kirkwood program focusing on families from Toomer Elementary and Kirkwood senior citizens.

THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Holiday Mixer on Tuesday, December 5th. Kirkwood United Church of Christ (KUCC) was a gracious host and the new sanctuary was a perfect space for such a celebration.
Over 70 neighbors, business owners and community supporters attended and enjoyed delicious food by Urban Pie, Kirkyard Public House, Poor Hendrix, The Pullman, The Kirkwood Apartments, Augusta Designs, Snapdragon Designs, Atlanta Clay Works and Poppa Corn's Gourmet Popcorn. StartME Eastlake provided all the plates, napkins and cups.
Everyone enjoyed live music by the Elegant Bachelors. Thanks Guitar Shed for booking the band.
The new KBOA board of directors worked together to make this year's event a success.

Elections will be held a the general meeting on November 14th as well as online 24 hours prior to the meeting. KBOA needs 26 members to vote. Associate members can not vote.
