The Kirkwood Wine Stroll was established in 2006 as a unique way for neighbors to experience downtown Kirkwood. From a few local businesses pouring wine and 500 “strollers”, the event has grown into a block party within downtown Kirkwood. The Wine Stroll is now a beloved in-town Atlanta event with 35 pouring stations serving 1,500 people. But that’s not all! The KWS also includes food served by local businesses and live music and entertainment on two stages.
We are expecting more people than ever at our 10th Anniversary event! Organized by the Kirkwood Business Owners’ Association (KBOA), proceeds from this annual event support local schools and initiatives and fund other KBOA events throughout the year. The Kirkwood Business Owners’ Association, is a 501c(6) nonprofit organization established in 2007 to promote growth, stability and profitability in the Kirkwood Business District.
Proceeds from the Wine Stroll will be used to enhance the business districts and help fund other Kirkwood organizations and events.
For the first time, KBOA is offering local businesses a chance to promote your business to our loyal wine strollers through sponsorship opportunities.
